Zulfi Bukhari to discuss Imran’s situation with US President-elect Trump

Washington: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s leader Zulfi Bukhari has announced plans to discuss Imran Khan’s situation with US President-elect Donald Trump and his team.

Zulfi, close ally of Imran, stated in an interview that he is in contact with Trump’s family members, including his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner.

He further stated that he intends to address not only Imran Khan’s legal situation but also broader issues surrounding human rights, democratic values and rule of law in Pakistan after Trump assumes office. Zulfi asserted that Trump has previously expressed concern over Khan’s legal challenges, signalling possible ally for PTI’s cause.

In addition, Zulfi congratulated Trump on his recent presidential victory, calling it win for democracy.

He also extended congratulations on behalf of PTI to Trump and JD Vance, lauding their successful comebacks despite obstacles. According to Zulfi, Trump’s win is message of resilience and economic stability.
