Zilhajj moon sighted in Pakistan, Eid-ul-Azha on June 29

Karachi: Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan's moon sighting body confirmed that Zilhajj moon was sighted in different parts of country.
Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad presided over meeting which was also attended by representatives from Pakistan Meteorological Department. Simultaneously, meetings of zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal Committees were also held at their respective headquarters. Eidul Adha will be on Thursday June 29, it announced.
Initially, some zonal panels have confirmed sighting moon. However, formal announcement will be made by central committee's chairman.
Eidul Azha is celebrated on 10th of Zilhajj across Muslim world.
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has confirmed that Hajj rituals will take place on June 27, followed by celebration of Eid-ul-Azha on June 28.
