‘Zeest’ play presented at Pakistan Theatre Festival Arts Council Karachi

Karachi: On twenty-seventh day of ongoing Pakistan Theater Festival in Arts Council Karachi, Tehreek-e-Niswan presented theater play ‘Zeest’ in Urdu language. Writer, director and choreographer of theater was Sheema Kermani. Cast of play was Naina Black, Tabita, Ramesha, Shazia, Sabiha, Bushra, Zahra and Sheema Kermani, ‘Zeest’ revives charming essence of Amrita Pritam’s short stories, play that portrays today’s women through iconic characters of life and air.

As life and air traverse social landscape, play narrates multifaceted challenges and triumphs that shape women’s experiences. With keen eye on contemporary issue ‘Zeest’ offered profound exploration of women`s roles and aspirations.
