Lahore: A meeting was held between Pakistan Peoples’ Party co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain here, discussed final words regarding vote of confidence and no-confidence motion. According to reports, Asif Zardari reportedly met Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain for second time to discuss vote of confidence and no-confidence motion in Punjab Assembly.

During meeting, both parties agreed on bringing their own man as Chief Minister of Punjab at time when PML-Q’s Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is holding position through an alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, meanwhile PM Shehbaz Sharif also joined meeting via phone call.

Nasir Hussain Shah and Malik Ahmed Khan gave briefing to both leaders on important issues, while Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain and Tariq Bashir Cheema were also present in meeting.
