Zainab Jamil, a former Pakistani model and television actress, first gained recognition as a host on private show.

In a candid interview, Zainab opened up about her tumultuous marriage, detailing the torturous behavior of her ex-husband and the abuse she endured during their relationship.

Her revelations shed light on the challenges she faced in her personal life, sparking conversations about domestic abuse and the struggles many women face behind closed doors.

Talking about meeting her ex-husband, Zainab said, it was a love marriage, I knew my ex-husband and he was quite serious about me. He was forcing me to get married with him, he was insisting a lot.

He wanted me to leave my profession to get married to him. Well, I met him in Lahore, when I was in Karachi he started pressurizing me for marriage, I couldn’t even investigate about him and got into his trap especially when he said that leave your profession and sit at home, you don’t need to work.

In two years, I was completely hypnotized by him, I was in his control and wanted to marry him, however, my family was not agreed.
