ISLAMABAD: 96th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Peoples’ Party Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) was observed. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PPP co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to former premier Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

Bilawal Bhutto in message on X on birth anniversary of his grandfather said ZAB gave Constitution and nuclear programme to country. He paid rich tributes to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for his political vision and wisdom for country.

Bilawal vowed to continue his grandfather’s legacy and to complete popular slogan of PPP ‘roti, kapra aor makaaan’ in upcoming elections of 2024 to be held on February 8. Senior PPP leader Sherry Rehman paid rich tribute to late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in her message on X.

“Today, grandson Bilawal Bhutto takes dream forward to empower bottom of social pyramid, to rebuild Pakistan as an economically vitalised nation with investments in human capital, sustainable development and policy instruments that reboot our social sectors as inclusive and responsive for resilience in 21st century,” Rehman said.
