Young Star Boxing Club win Hyderabad Cup Pakistan Day Boxing Tournament

Hyderabad: One-day Hyderabad Cup Pakistan Day tournament organized by Divisional Boxing Association Hyderabad with the support of Sindh Sports Department and supervised by Sindh Boxing Association was held at Young Star Boxing Club Kacha Qila Hyderabad in which 7 clubs and 51 boxers participated.  There were 11 competitions in the boys class and 8 in the junior class. On this occasion, UC Chairman Rajab Ali Khaskheli and Vice Chairman Munir Badshah distributed prizes to the boxers and said that sports activities in the area are among our priorities and regarding Pakistan Day.

The purpose of organizing the program in this way is to make the youth aware of the struggle of Pakistan. On this occasion, former international boxer Muhammad Ali Qambrani, Karim Bakhsh Qambrani, Akhtar Baloch, Gibran Baig, Afzal Qambrani and other dignitaries of the area were also present while the referee judges duties were performed by Basharat Ali, Salahuddin, Jahangir Jamali, Shabbir Baloch, Faisal Shah and Yameen Sheikh.

On this occasion, Secretary Hyderabad Division Zulfikar Ali Zahri informed the Chief Guest about the details of the tournament and expressed hope that such programs will be organized in the future and Secretary of the tournament Asif Qambrani welcomed the distinguished guests.  Young Star Boxing Club won the first position with 4 golds and Young Men Boxing Club won the second position with 3 golds. The results are:

Zeeshan beat Bilal 3-0, in 30 kg Mudassir beat Waseem 2-1, in 32 kg Shayan beat Ali Shah 2-1, in 34 kg Shah Saud beat Abdul Khalil 2-1. In 36 kg, Aman Baloch beat Hamza 3-0, in thirty-eight kg, Hasnain beat Uzair Khan 2-1, in 42 kg, Mir Balaj beat Shahzad Shah 3-0, in 44 kg, Ahmed Baloch beat him.
