Actor-director Yasir Hussain recently hit out at digital creators spreading false death rumors about him. The hoax, which claimed “Iqra Aziz’s husband passed away suddenly,” was circulated by a YouTube creator with a misleading thumbnail.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Hussain humorously addressed the situation, writing, “Whoever has reported this news, I hope the next news you write is about the death of your mother’s husband.” His sharp response garnered mixed reactions from social media users. While many condemned the clickbait culture and supported Hussain, others criticized his response for lacking empathy. The false reports caused an uproar, with many pointing out the irresponsibility of sensationalized headlines used to gain views and subscribers. Hussain, who married fellow actor Iqra Aziz in a private ceremony in 2019, shares a three-year-old son, Kabir Hussain, with her. The couple recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. The actor has previously voiced his concerns over such hoaxes and has maintained a humorous yet firm stance against the spread of false information. This incident highlights the ongoing issue of clickbait content circulating on digital platforms, which often misleads the public for financial gain.
