Work on replacement valves, lines to be completed today: Spokesperson KWSC

KARACHI: Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) is working on replacement of valves and repair of lines on emergency basis. According to spokesperson of KWSC, repair work will be completed today and water supply to city will be resumed as usual from Dhabeji Pumping Station. 

He said that to further improve valves controlling system in city, two butterfly valves are being installed and in this context, an important initiative has been taken by new management of KWSC for betterment of city.

CEO KWSC Syed Salahuddin Ahmed said that with valves controlling system, fair and equal supply of water will be possible in city because providing better water supply and sewerage facilities to citizens is one of our top priorities. He paid tribute to all officers and employees KWSC including Chief Engineer Zafar Palijo and Superintending Engineer Syed Muhammad Ajaz for working day and night.
