Karachi: Administrator DMC east Syed Shakeel Ahmed said that after forecast of rain, arrangements have been made to tackle rain situation and we are completing steps to minimise rains aftermath.

Inspecting work of cleaning of drains at various places of Lemo Goth, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and University Road he said that work is being done to clean drains under supervision of DMC east officials and there are many small drains in Jamshed Zone, which have almost been cleaned while cleaning of drains will be made possible before regular monsoon season. After this, we are trying to take measures from now on so that there is not much work has to be done in monsoon. Director Municipal Services Tauqeer Abbas, Assistant Executive Engineer Rashid Fayyaz and others were present.
