Gujrat: Pakistan Peoples' Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asserted that he will not arrest political opponents if voted into power. Addressing public gathering here, he said, 'Lets vote for PPP to see collective efforts in bid to uplift country. If we come up with sincere attitude, then world will also be ready to join hands with us.'
Bilawal recounted that he had worked as Foreign Minister for 16-month tenure. 'I will confront challenges posed by poverty, unemployment and inflation'.
'I am keeping target to release those political leaders who have been detained,' he said. Bilawal Bhutto lamented that former President Asif Ali Zardari had to face jail for 10 years.
He suggested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers should use their right to vote in an 'Organised strategy.' He urged masses to vote for his party to see promises fulfilled.
Asserting to establish free health institutions in every district of Punjab, Bilawal said, 'If masses will give us opportunity, we will also develop hospital in Raiwind.'
Bilawal Bhutto intensified his criticism of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, accusing them of relying on external support to gain power. Bilawal suggested that PML-N is hesitant to take initiative and is depending on others for political success.
"There is reason Sher [PML-N election symbol] is not going on hunt and relying on others to hunt for him," Bilawal remarked. Without explicitly naming PML-N, Bilawal criticised party for not publicly revealing its manifesto and seeking votes without clear agenda. Bilalwal Bhutto said we should learn from experience of Asif Ali Zardari. It is my desire Asif Ali Zardari becomes President of Pakistan once again.
Highlighting PPP’s 10-point agenda, Bilawal outlined party's commitment to alleviating poverty, unemployment and inflation in country.
