Who’s responsible for 12 innocent deaths? Rawat asks administration

Karachi: A well-known political and business figure of Karachi Faizan Rawat , General Secretary All Karachi Restaurant Association came hard on public quarters offering free food provisions on lower rates to needy around city.

“This act of these ‘so-called’ social welfare champions has cast life threatening to needy and those gather for seeking food assistance at setting up designated sites in city”.

A number of people including women and children have lost lives in such incidents as there was no any proper arrangements to supply food or eatables to needy, he added. He said that it is matter of fact that such elements wanted to seek assistance from government quarters or from foreign assistance to run their ‘so-called businesses.’ Referring to SITE industry Ramadhan relief assistance to needy in which alteast eleven lives including women and children lost lives while many injured is an eye opener to general public as well as to city administration to take appropriate measure to ensure live safety of people, he asserted.

There was no proper arrangements there to provide food aid to needy who rushed to site and in rampage resulting to loss of precious lives, which is sad affair, he lamented.
