RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has held leaders of all political leaders responsible for destroying lives of poverty-stricken masses by getting involved in their tussle for power struggle.

"PPP and Maulana Fazlur Rehman are blaming PML-N for creating economic mess in country, but actually people of Pakistan are paying price of inefficiencies of all of them [political leaders]," he said in his latest post on X.

He said real challenges masses were facing were poverty and unemployment which were not priority for political leaders. Taking jibe at PML-N President, seasoned politician said Shehbaz Sharif, being in public office used to attend seven events a day, but after quitting public office, he always fell ill after reaching London. He said Nawaz Sharif had been suffering political illness for last several years.

Former Minister said top leadership of PPP and PML-N had escaped from country, fearing public wrath. He said masses protesting on roads against inflated power bills and inflation were not representing any political party.
