Karachi: Water Corporation is taking steps to improve water supply further and fixing of drainage across city. Policy for underground water supply was under progress including resolving water supply and drainage issues in industrial areas. CEO Water Corporation Syed Salahuddin Ahmed in meeting with delegation led by Mian Zahid Hussain of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce Industry (FPCCI) at MD Secretariat Karsaz CEO Water Corporation assured delegation of immediate resolution of all complaints and issued on-spot-orders to officials to resolve issues in question. COO Water Corporation Asadullah Khan, Muhammad Hanif Baloch, Sikandar Zardari, Zafar Palijo, Aftab Alam Chandio and other senior officials were present.

Delegation informed about various issues of water supply and drainage in industrial areas of city including Korangi Industrial Area. They asked problems should be solved on priority. Zahid Hussain congratulated CEO Water Corporation on establishment of modern Hydrants Management Centre by Water Corporation, assuring him that Industrial establishments will now purchase water from government hydrants of Water Corporation.
