Uzbek defence team, Secy Defence Production discuss production

RAWALPINDI: Defence delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Director General of Defence Industry Agency Mansurjon Ibodullaev called on Secretary Ministry of Defence Production, Lt Gen (retd) Muhammad Chiragh Haider here.

Secretary Defence Production welcomed delegation, news release said. He appreciated existing relations between two countries in domain of defence production. Visiting delegation held delegation level meeting with high officials of Ministry of Defence Production. During meeting both sides stressed on need to explore avenues for joint ventures in field of defence production. It was further emphasised that existing cordial relations between two countries be translated into active cooperation in defence production sector. Matters of mutual interest were also discussed including visit of Uzbek experts to Defence Production Establishments of Pakistan.
