Some dramas always get lot of hype before they are even aired and Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay was one of them. We had Mahira Khan making comeback, Usman Mukhtar back as solo hero while Kubra Khan was gong to be seen in negative role in story written by Umera Ahmed. Hype was real and OST further intensified love for drama. But one thing that came for male lead was backlash and lot of it.

Usman Mukhtar played lead Aswad in drama and Aswad was very harsh on female lead Mehreen which was played by Mahira Khan. People were not happy with Aswad at all and Usman actually made character very believable.

There was lot of backlash then and people were criticising Usman aka Aswad lot on internet.
