ISLAMABAD: Donald Blome Ambassador of United Stated of America called on Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar greeted Donald Blome and appreciated deep rooted historic and durable bilateral relations with United States on economic and trade fronts. Finance Minister also updated Ambassador about successfully reaching staff level agreement with IMF and communicated about economic policies and priorities of government in order to set economy on path from stability to growth.

Donald Blome expressed confidence in policies and programmes of government for bringing economic sustainability in country. He also extended his support to further promote bilateral economic, investment and trade relations between two countries. Two sides also exchanged views about areas of common interest and how existing bilateral relations between two countries can be enhanced further.

Finance Minister Dar appreciated support and cooperation of US and reiterated desire of government to further deepen bilateral economic and trade ties with US.
