US envoy, Air Chief discuss professionalism, exchange of knowledge

Islamabad: US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome called on Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and lauded ‘commendable level of professionalism’ of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) personnel.

During meeting, both dignitaries expressed their mutual desire to elevate training momentum between two sides through enhanced collaboration in air force to air force mutual exercises, said statement issued by PAF spokesperson.

Furthermore, US Ambassador and Air Chief emphasised importance of fostering robust exchange of delegations and knowledge sharing to bolster capabilities of both PAF and US Air Force.

“Discussion centered around collaboration in recently established techno parks, with focus on leveraging technological advancements to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency,” statement said.

Reorganisation of mutual cooperation parameters was also deliberated upon, with an aim to fortify existing ties and explore new avenues for joint ventures and strategic partnerships.

Meanwhile, Air Chief Marshal accentuated cordial relations that exist between two nations while emphasising his steadfast determination to elevate existing synergistic partnership between two key allies.

“Pakistan deeply values its robust diplomatic, economic and defence ties with United States of America which are firmly rooted in mutual consensus concerning all important matters pertaining to regional peace, security and stability,” statement quoted Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed as saying.

US envoy lauded commendable level of professionalism of Pakistan Air Force personnel and acknowledged remarkable strides made by PAF through indigenisation under current leadership. Donald Blome expressed his admiration for Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to facilitate regional peace and stability.
