US Coast Guard confirmed that rescue teams looking for missing Titanic submersible detected "Underwater noises" in search area where craft went missing two days earlier.
"Canadian P-3 aircraft detected underwater noises in search area. As result, ROV (remotely operated vehicle) operations were relocated in an attempt to explore origin of noises," US Coast Guard's First District said on its official Twitter page.
ROV searches "Have yielded negative results but continue," maritime military branch added. It was not immediately clear if news reports were based on same source.
