Urdu symbol of unity, Governor Tessori addresses Conference

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that Urdu is symbol of unity in Pakistan, Urdu has united Pakistan from Karachi to Khyber, declaring Urdu as national and official language was vision of father of Nation. Addressing International Literary Conference at Federal University of Urdu Governor said that Urdu University is one of most important educational institutions in city.
Big names of knowledge and literature have been associated with this University. It is my good fortune that I have been invited to this international literary conference. He said that organising this literary conference for students is national service, I have all possible help and support with all of you. He said that according to decree of Quaid-e-Azam, Urdu should be fully implemented and now research papers need to be translated and published in Urdu, this will help students to get higher education in their own language.
Especially young generation is requested to love their language and learn it. He said that Urdu is also biggest helper and supporter of mutual relations in this region because Urdu is language that makes way in emotions and hearts and it is fact that if someone speaks English, we get overwhelmed but good Urdu is important. Although developing countries consider their national language as key to development.
He said that we should have same determination for promotion of Urdu and effort for development of Urdu science and literature is responsibility of all of us. Meanwhile, Kamran Tessori visited Chinese Consulate, He offered condolence on death of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin. in guest book, Governor wrote that former Chinese President Jiang Zemin rendered significant services for development of China. On other hand, Consul General of Qatar Mashal Muhammad Ali Al Ansari met with him.
They discussed bilateral relations, promotion of mutual trade, investment opportunities in province and other issues. Consul General Mashal Muhammad Ali Al Ansari said that he wants to see Pakistan stable and developed, while he expects further promotion of investment and trade in Pakistan.
