Mehwish Hayat is a superstar of Pakistan. She has been giving hits after hits for the past few years. People love her strong screen presence and she has been able to win hearts internationally as well with projects like Ms Marvel where she played a very fierce role. Mehwish is a big filmstar and poeple are waiting for her next project to drop as she has been MIA mostly.

Khalil ur Rehman Qamar on the other hand is an acclaimed writer. He is a very particular writer and he always knows who to cast in his characters. He has worked with Mehwish in multiple projects including Punjab Nahi Jaongi, London Nahi Jaunga and Teri Meri Kahaniyaan. He is mostly known to work with Mehwish for the silver screen but he was actually not on talking terms with the actress.

Khalil ur Rehman Qamar was a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast where he revealed that he as angry at Mehwish. He shared that he was the one who got Mehwish cast in Punjab Nahi Jaungi. He fought the director and the producer and therefore she got that film. But later on when he was making his film Kaaf Kangana, Mehwish said No to him which angered him.
