The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is set to convene another closed-door meeting on Monday to address the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict, as reported by the Security Council Report (SCR).
The meeting has been requested by the United Arab Emirates and China, according to SCR.
During this meeting, the ten elected members of the UNSC may put forward a new resolution concerning the situation in Israel and Gaza, SCR added. It's worth noting that the council's permanent members have already vetoed four resolutions that called for either a humanitarian pause or a ceasefire. It has been over 10 days since the rejection of the last two resolutions on October 25.
