KARACHI: Samuel Rizk representative of United Nations agency and Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori discussed UNDP projects and measures to further increase their effectiveness and other matters of mutual interest.

Governor said that projects of UNDP are helping to improve quality of life of people, he added that projects of UNDP for improvement of social sector are commendable. Later, members of delegation visited bell of hope, delegation expressed pleasant surprise to see bell of hope and delegation of UNDP inspected ration bags of powerful Pakistan.

Meanwhile, newly appointed Chief Secretary Dr. Muhammad Fakhr Alam Irfan and IG Sindh Rifat Mukhtar met Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori in separate meetings. Sindh congratulating them on assuming office. He said that it is hoped that bureaucracy of province will take comprehensive measures to solve problems of people. Kamran Tessori said that intention and intention are more important than resources to solve public problems. Chief Secretary Dr. Fakhr Alam Irfan and IG Sindh expressed resolve for solving issues of people.

Meeting with IG overall law and order situation in province, measures to improve it, strategies to control street crimes in city and related issues were discussed. Governor said that it is hoped that under your leadership the performance of police force will improve.
