LAHORE: Adviser Interior and Information Punjab Umar Sarfaraz Cheema said that our system was exposed on issue of FIR of attack on Imran Khan. Civil-military relations and affairs are no longer secret. Imran Khan was hit by bullets but he is in field, on other hand, those with fake medical certificates flee country. Imran Khan is our inspiration. Friendly opposition satanised country. If Supreme Court had not intervened, FIR would not have been registered even after four days. Talking to delegation of Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) at a private hotel he said we are losing power in province but I am sure that GDPR, Information Secretary and other officers will try to resolve issues that have just been mentioned at earliest.

Spokesperson of Punjab government Musrat Jamshed Cheema said Tehreek-e-Insaf believes in freedom of media, we have always worked for freedom of media and we believe in creating facilities for media industry in future as well.

Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is media friendly so we have always tried to solve issues of media on priority. CPNE members discussed political situation in country, including issues being faced by media.

President CPNE Kazim Khan and Secretary General Aamir Mehmood highlighted fact that issues faced by print media are still pending despite repeated assurances. Umar Sarfraz Cheema said Chairman Imran Khan considered media as our team in this struggle.

DGPR Rao Parvez Akhtar, Information Secretary Asif Bilal Lodhi, Additional Secretary Admin Nazia Jabin and Secretary Mehboob Alam were also present.
