Two terrorists killed in Kalat’s IBO: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Two terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by the security forces in general area Nagao Mountains of Balochistan’s Kalat district on reported presence of terrorists on Tuesday, the military said.

“During the conduct of operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists, resultantly two terrorists were sent to hell,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement. A cache of arms, ammunition and explosives has also been recovered, it added.

The military’s media wing said the killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and target killing of innocent civilians.

It said sanitisation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

“Security forces of Pakistan, in step with nation, remain determined to thwart attempts of sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan,” the ISPR maintained
