Two more matches gets final nod in Commissioner Karachi Boys Basketball tourney

KARACHI: Two more matches were decided during the ongoing 6th Commissioner Karachi Cup Boys tournament, at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court, Arambagh, here yesterday. In the first match, Bahria Club defeated Civil Tigers easily by 66-42 points and in the second match, Arambagh Club defeated Peterson Stars Club by 48-29 points. The day's matches were inaugurated by ADC South Tabriz Muree, on this occasion President of Karachi Basketball Association Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Commissioner Karachi PSO Ahmar Pasha and other personalities were present. Mohsin Gujar scored 28 points in the first match while Aun Akram scored 18 points and Hamad Wasim scored 12 points, while Andre Turner scored 12 points, Muhammad Muaz scored 10 points and Saleem Sameer scored 10 points on behalf of the runner team. In the second match, Daniyal Khan Marwat scored 19 points for the winner Arambagh team. Ali scored 13, Saad Salahuddin scored 12 points, while Ahad Ali scored 10 for the runner team. Hassan and Ahmer scored 6 points each.
In these matches, Zahid Malik, Aamir Sharif, Muhammad Ashraf, Tariq Hassan were the referees while Zaima Khatun, Mumtaz Ahmed, Raj Kumar, Michael Turner, Naeem Ahmed and Zulfiqar Abbas Khan performed the duties of technical officials.
