Two Levies men martyred as terrorists storm Mastung check post

MASTUNG: At least two Levies men were martyred as terrorists stormed check post of force near Babri area of Mastung district in Balochistan, an official said. Officials also said that also took weapons of martyred personnel with them after attack. Assistant Commissioner Mastung said that area has been sealed and search for attackers was underway. Meanwhile, residents of the area blocked Quetta-Taftan National Highway after terror incident.
After hearing news about incident, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned Mastung attack and prayed for martyred personnel’s high ranks in hereafter. PM also expressed his condolences to families of Levies officials. PM Shehbaz said that morale of security forces is high in fight against terrorism.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo condemned attack on check post. Bizenjo expressed his grief over martyrdom of two levies personnel. He offered his condolences to families of victims of terror incidents. Terror incidents are cause of concern, CM Bizenjo said in statement, highlighting “Enemies want to deteriorate peace of province.”
Bizenjo directed law enforcement agencies to utilise all available resources to bring terrorists into grip of law. He added, “We need to be more alert to fail plans of enemies of country.” Law enforcement agencies should not let any stone unturned in carrying out their responsibilities, he said.
