KARACHI: Two dacoits were wounded by firing allegedly resorted to by citizens on food street Burns Road. Citizens took on two alleged criminals on Burns Road after they found them snatching assets from locals. Locals reportedly surrounded dacoits and opened fire on them.

Wounded men were handed over to police. Police told media that alleged criminals were injured by citizens’ firing. They added that an investigation was underway to ascertain facts.

On Thursday, an alleged dacoit was gunned down by Karachi citizen in Orangi Town. Incident took place in Orangi Town Number 4 when dacoits on motorcycle tried to loot citizens sitting outside their home.

Police said that passerby was also injured by firing resorted to by dacoits while trying to flee from scene.
