Twitterati outraged at Maryam’s vile, vengeful tweet

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Vice President Maryam Nawaz issued an apology over her Tweet on slain Journalist Arshad Sharif. Maryam on Twitter penned "My tweet was not aimed at mocking someone but about learning our lessons from past."

She wrote, "I am undoing tweet and apologise for hurt it may have caused to aggrieved which never was my intention. May no one ever have to go through this pain. Prayers for bereaved family."

After gruesome killing of renowned journalist Arshad Sharif, Maryam's tweet has left many bewildered and angry on social media. In a tweet, Maryam Nawaz retweeted a tweet which, sharing a picture of Arshad Sharif's dead body, alleged that anchorperson used to say that PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif sent his mother in a parcel. Maryam wrote, "This is a lesson for mankind that we must all imbibe."

 Maryam Nawaz's "vengeful" tweet has left many bewildered and angry on social media. Retweet by Maryam Nawaz left many on social media with anger, calling it in bad taste."I don't feel good writing this PML-N leader wrote along with a tweet and a photo of Arshad Sharif's coffin.
