ISLAMABAD: Tereek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is using American weapons against Pakistan, revelations came out in pentagon report presented in US House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Islamic Emirates is providing support to TTP against Pakistan.

Pentagon in report revealed all secrets that after American withdrawal, 7.2 billion dollar worth of defense equipment was left in Afghanistan.

Chairman of US House Committee on Foreign Affairs Michael McCaul said that "Islamic Emirate is helping TTP to arm itself against Pakistan."

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman of Islamic Emirate denied American statement and called it baseless, however, American report said that supply of weapons to TTP has significantly damaged security of region.

Pentagon report revealed secret of TTP's use of American weapons against Pakistan. After American withdrawal on August 30, 2021, $ 7.12 billion worth of defense equipment remained in Afghanistan. provided 427,300 weapons of war, of which 300,000 remained at time of withdrawal, after American withdrawal, these weapons came under control of Islamic Emirate and later ended up in hands of anti-Pakistani groups.

United States provided $ 18.6 billion in equipment to Afghan National Defense and Security Forces between 2005 and August 2021.

A video released by TTP in August 2022 shows M24 sniper rifles, M16A4 rifles equipped with thermal scopes, M4 carbines with Trijicon ACOG scopes, DShKM heavy machine guns and T-15mm heavy 5mm launchers.

Prior to this incident, on May 16, 2023, TTP shared some photos showing TTP training terrorists. All these facts point to fact that Islamic Emirate is not only arming TTP but also providing safe passage to other terrorist organisations.
