Tribute to SP Muzaffar Iqbal (late)-new complex named after him

Karachi: New complex has been named in honour SP Muhammad Muzaffar Iqbal (late) at Special Security Unit Headquarters.

This initiative aims to celebrate his remarkable contributions to law enforcement and his unwavering commitment to public safety. On directives of DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, complex has been inaugurated by daughter of SP Muzaffar Iqbal at ceremony. Senior and retired police officers paid tribute to services of Muzaffar Iqbal. 

SP Muzaffar Iqbal dedicated over five decades serving Sindh Police, where he earned reputation for integrity, dedication and exceptional leadership. He was founder member of Special Security Unit who played pivotal role to make SSU as state-of-the-art police outfit.

His tenure included significant roles in local law enforcement and international peacekeeping efforts under United Nations, showcasing his commitment to justice and global harmony. DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed said that establishment of this complex serves as lasting reminder of his invaluable services and profound impact he had on community.

It will not only honour his legacy but also inspire future generations of law enforcement personnel to uphold values he embodied throughout his career. He said that as long as Special Security Unit and Sindh Police exist, name of Muzaffar Iqbal will be remembered, serving as beacon of hope and dedication to all who follow in his footsteps.
