On this Defence Day, September 6th, we stand united in remembrance and reverence for the extraordinary sacrifices made by our armed forces.  I feel privileged to honor the valor and commitment of the brave men and women who have devoted their lives to safeguarding our nation.

Defence Day is not merely a commemoration of a historic military conflict but a tribute to the relentless courage of our soldiers who have stood as the bulwark of our sovereignty. On this day in 1965, our nation faced formidable challenges, and it was through the unyielding spirit and unwavering resolve of our armed forces that Pakistan's integrity was preserved.

Our soldiers' heroism during the 1965 war is etched in the annals of history as a testament to their dedication and sacrifice. They braved immense hardships and made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the safety and security of our homeland.

Their bravery serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for us all.

Today, as we reflect on their contributions, we also reaffirm our commitment to supporting and uplifting the families of those who have served. The sacrifices of our soldiers are not confined to the battlefield but resonate in every corner of our lives.

Their legacy of courage and dedication must be honored not only with words but through actions that reinforce our collective responsibility towards national security and solidarity.

As we gather to pay homage to our heroes, let us renew our pledge to uphold the values they fought for-freedom, peace, and unity. Their sacrifice is a reminder of the price of liberty and the strength of our nation.

On this Defence Day, let us express our profound gratitude and ensure that their legacy endures through our unwavering commitment to Pakistan's prosperity and security.Long live Pakistan, and may our armed forces continue to stand as the proud defenders of our nation.
