Traveling is a practice to go here and there and visit different places other than your city. It is actually a mean of interaction with different cultures, religions and traditions. Travelling is of different types; travel within the province, travel within the country, travel to neighboring countries, travel around the whole world.  Every type of travelling is a path to open new world of thoughts. Every time we travel, we have a new experience of the world and its people.

Majority of the people who love traveling do it when they are young because of the availability of adequate time and lack of pressing responsibilities such as work and family (People from all walks of life, both young and old, enjoy traveling. When traveling, the traveler has many exceptional opportunities presented to them. The traveler gets the chance to experience new things, make choices, reward themselves, and to gain knowledge of the world outside their own.

Travel is perhaps one of the best things that you want to enjoy for yourself. Most people love to enjoy new sceneries and meet new people. They want to learn new culture and try different things. Hence, travelling is a great journey for a person to enhance his/her life experiences. A person who is well-travelled can be considered as a person who is very well-experienced. You went out from your comfort zones just to explore the world.

In this article we will discuss about the advantages of travelling the advantages of traveling are unlimited, despite of the expanse and fatigue. By traveling around a country or around the world, you can be familiar with the traditions of different nations and religions. It is the human nature that he always needs to discover his truth, and travelling is the best way to find the truth. Curiosity is integrated naturally in human’s mind which urges him to observe things and happenings in the world, nothing is best than traveling to facilitate the curiosity of human mind.

IT OPENS YOUR MIND:

Traveling opens your mind because you begin to see how people do things differently than you and still get by. We become so accustomed to how we do things that we believe it is the only way, and that anyone who acts differently is inferior. Traveling changes this. From big things such as religious practices to small things such as how you order your food, traveling opens you up to all types of changes.

These changes can get frustrating at times. For example, if you ask for water in Italy you will most likely still get bottled water and be charged for it. When ordering gelato, you have to pay first before telling them what you want. You take these changes and apply them to everyday life. You realize that if someone does things differently than you, it’s ok. Maybe that kid acts differently than you, talks differently than you. Traveling makes you realize that’s alright because there are other people in the world that would think your way of doing things is “weird.”

YOU GET TO EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT CULTURES:

The most fun part of traveling is experiencing different cultures. New food, new music, new language, it’s so amazing how different it can be from ours. One feature of Roman culture I found interesting was that they air dry their clothes. In the United States, we would find this as a hassle since we like to get things done fast. However, the Italians value tradition. Neither is right, neither is wrong. Another interesting thing was how superstitious the Italians are.

TRAVELING IMPROVES YOUR HEALTH:

From cutting down on stress, to lowering your chances of developing a heart disease, the health benefits of traveling are huge. You may stay sitting on a chair all day long at the workplace: including some walking to your trip is sure to make your body feel better. For some people, wandering abroad is even a cure for depression and anxiety. Of course, it’s not a foolproof cure, but it might help you feel better, both physically and psychologically.

Traveling more is likely to have a tremendous impact on your mental well-being, especially if you’re no used to going out of your comfort zone. Trust me: travel more and your doctor will be happy. Be sure to get in touch with your physician, they might recommend some medication to accompany you in your travels, especially if you’re heading to regions of the globe with potentially dangerous diseases.

TRAVELING MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE AN ADVENTURER:

Despite the fact that the world has never been as well connected as today, there are still places that are little known to the average tourist. Setting up a list of places you want to visit is extremely motivating. You have something tangible to go after. I’m currently working on my own bucket list, and I think I’ll never see the end of it, with all these amazing destinations.

The benefit of traveling to a new place is that it forces you to face the unknown and think differently. You don’t need to go spend a month in the jungle! If you live in a large city, just going on a hike over the weekend will make you feel different. Adventures require novelty, so get out of your comfort zone. It might be scary, but in retrospect, you’ll see it as the best decision you ever made!

TRAVELING MAKES YOU LOVE YOUR HOME EVEN MORE:

“The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back”. You will truly understand the meaning of those words by Wendy Wunder, only upon your return home. On the one hand, it would seem that you’re back where you started, same setting, same people, same problems. Yet you’re not the same - you’re new, full of new knowledge and ideas!

I know that I was getting bored after living my whole life in the same place. I needed to get out, I need a change of scene. I was focusing only the negative: how there isn’t much to do around, how you always meet the same people, how nothing changes. Now, when I come home, I’m glad about all of this and I see only the positive.

TRAVELLING ENHANCE YOUR CREATIVITY:

One of the biggest benefits of Travelling is that it takes you out of your comfort zone. Especially if you are travelling to a place you have never visited before, everything seems fresh and new. New stimuli attack all your senses. You see new landscapes and experience vivid colours. You hear new music, people speak an unknown language in the streets, which overflows with the new scents smells. The smell and the taste of new food... Even the small challenges are welcome. How do you hold chopsticks? How do you bargain at the market? How do you find your way around?

Travelling introduces novelty to your brain and improves cognition. Once you face new challenges, you need to be resourceful to find a solution. New neural connections are created in the brain as a result, and they engender new original thoughts. So once you return home, you can use all these new stimuli and creativeness to generate new ideas in your old job!

FINAL WORDS ON BEMEFITS OF TRAVELLING

No doubt, everyone cannot bear the expenses on traveling without any special work but, the person who is fond of traveling, do not bother about fatigue and expanses. You may have heard about a person who travelled around the world on his bike, or on his cycle, this is the matter of interest. It doesn’t, mean that everyone start travelling on bike pr cycle to gain knowledge and information.  But if you get a chance to travel, don’t miss it because it may a path for your good future. I hope that this travel article makes you want to travel more in 2023. As you travel, you realize that the world is a much better place than what you can see on TV when watching the news.
