Trade volume between Oman, Pakistan will increase: envoy

Karachi: Consul General of Sultanate of Oman Sami Abdullah Salim Al Khanjiri said that efforts are being made to increase trade between Oman and Pakistan. He said applicants for visa along with required documents will issue visa. Talking to media on Eid dinner and musical night by Rotary Club of Karachi in presence of Platinum President Hasnain Pardesi, Consul General of Malaysia Herman Hardynata Ahmed, Director of GFC Builders and Developers Aslam Mian Noor and General Secretary of Rotary Club Karachi Noureen Khan Consul General said that trade between two countries will bring prosperity in lives of people of both countries. Oman and Pakistan have ideal relations and share each other’s culture.
Asif Sumsum President-elect , Shoaib Khan, Faisal Nadeem, Muhammad Ali, Aslam Nizam, Tazahib Kazmi, Aftab Imam, Raza Tabish, Fahad Sikandar, Kashif Rafiq, Farooq Dadi, Farooq Afzal, Aslam Khaliq, Nader Gabol, Samad Habib, Nasser Lakhani, Irfan Memon, Tariq Sarwar Jamali. S.J Qureshi, Syed Turab Shah, N.G Marshall, Zahid Karani, Faisal Kapadia, Razak Hariani, Shamaila Irfan, Jahanzeeb Khan, Kashan Chhogara, Shazia Akhtar and writer and social activist Adil Mehmood were present.
Malaysian envoy said we import textile products including seafood, surgical instruments and fruit, while Pakistan imports other products including palm oil from Malaysia. Envoy says anyone fulfills visa criteria, there is no obstacle for him to go to Malaysia, he said that he eats Pakistani food with passion and today’s event is a good effort of Rotary Club.
Rizwan Sheikh said there have been difficulties in construction sector but we have not stopped work, we consider it our duty to protect people’s jobs and we want to continue journey of development of city and country. Shields and flower bouquets were presented to Consul Generals and others.
