Tosha Khana gift case: FIA summons Fawad for levelling false allegation against Maryam

ISLAMABAD: FIA has summoned PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry on March 17 for leveling false allegations against PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz for obtaining watch from Tosha Khana. FIA has issued notice to Fawad Chaudhry on complaint of Raja Muhammad Haroon resident of Islamabad.

Notice has been issued under signature of Muhammad Munib Zafar Sub Inspector of FIA Cybercrime wings Islamabad. Raja Haroon said in his complaint Fawad Chaudhry has leveled false allegation of obtaining watch from Tosha Khana. Fawad Chaudhry issued provocative and false tweet on night of March 12. Privacy law was violated due to tweet. People were incited against Maryam Nawaz through tweet. Tosha Khans record has been issued. No mention has been made therein on obtaining watch by Maryam Nawaz. Action be taken against Fawad Chaudhry for making threatening tweet.
