Time to thwart nefarious designs of BLA

BLA terrorists have crossed all limits of brutality. In the recent attacks in Balochistan, these beasts proved that they are not only enemies of Pakistan, enemies of Balochistan and the Baloch nation, but they are also enemies of humanity.

For these terrorists, words like brutality, barbarism are not enough. What revenge are these cruel people taking from the innocent and poor Pakistanis who go to Balochistan for labor or who are travelers? If they want that in response to their cruelty, any hatred will arise against the common Baloch in Punjab and the country will go towards unrest, then it will not happen.  Whether it is Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Sindh or any region of Pakistan, it belongs to our Baloch brothers as much as it belongs to those living in any other region.  We will not hate our Baloch brothers or any other innocent Pakistanis or alienate them from us because of the terrorism of the BLA and other terrorist organizations active in Balochistan. We will not allow any conspiracy of these terrorists to succeed. Everyone is condemning what happened in Balochistan and everyone is sad about it.  On this occasion, it would have been good if Dr. Mah Rang Baloch, who fought for the missing persons, would have given a statement of condemnation, demanding that action should be taken against those responsible for the recent events and they should be made to face the music. It would have been good if the Baloch Solidarity Committee, which held sit-ins in different areas of Balochistan in the recent past in favor of the missing persons, would also have given a statement of condemnation.

Majority of Baloch living in Balochistan have peace, they are people who love Pakistan. The Sardars there, the Nawabs there, the members of the National and Provincial Assembly and the members of the Senate, the politicians there should all speak with one voice against the atrocities of BLA and other terrorist organizations.  If they will not speak against the terrorists, if they will not move forward to stop their cruelty, then these cruel people will not spare anyone at the behest of the enemies of Pakistan.  Isn't it a fact that the same terrorists martyred a Baloch Deputy Commissioner recently? Aren't some Baloch and Pakhtuns also victims of recent terrorist incidents? Is what the BLA and other terrorist organizations are doing there and which aims to stop the development of Balochistan in any way good for the people of Balochistan?  These terrorists are enemies of education and health of Baloch people. These terrorists are also killing the teachers who are doing the duty of teaching in Balochistan.  They are also killing doctors, engineers. The enemy is using these terrorists against Pakistan by paying them a lot of money. By selling hatred to the people of Balochistan, they are keeping them away from prosperity and development by committing terrorism in their name.  The people of Balochistan, its chiefs, Nawabs and politicians will all have to raise their voices for the sake of Pakistanis, for the sake of Balochistan so that terrorists do not find any shelter in Balochistan.  We should work together for development, education, health, business and the prosperity of the people so that the money that Balochistan gets is spent on the people there.  As far as the Army, FC, Police, Levies and other law enforcement agencies are concerned, the nation salutes their sacrifices and we believe that all together will soon rid Balochistan of the scourge of terrorism. It may be recalled here that during the first speech of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in the Balochistan Assembly earlier this year, he said that he is fully aware of the challenges facing his government. Speaking on the floor of the House, he had urged the Baloch rebels to abandon the armed struggle and join mainstream politics to achieve people's rights.  The Chief Minister had clarified that dialogue is the right way to solve all problems and his party believes in dialogue and reconciliation and wants the rebels sitting on the mountains to come down, join the national mainstream and participant in the development of the country, especially the province of Balochistan.  The chief minister assured the protestors that the government would provide all possible support for their rights enshrined in the constitution, but despite repeated appeals to desist from violence, if the writ of the state continued to be challenged, the government would follow the law.  The Govt will not shy away from fulfilling its responsibility for the sake of maintaining the supremacy of law and the protection of life and property of the people will be given priority. Mentioning other issues, he had said that the government will take all possible steps to solve the problems of governance, education and health in the province.

There is no denying that the new government of Balochistan has the ability to make better progress in solving the problems of the Baloch people due to the support of the two major parties of the country forming the government, so every possible effort should be made to ensure that the new democratic era is the harbinger of development and prosperity for the people of Balochistan.  A positive response to the offer should be done through dialogue instead of guns. It is also worth-mentioning here that peace in Balochistan is also important for the game-changer project CPEC. However, our arch-rival India wants to sabotage this project and for this it funds the separatists and anti-state elements in the country, particularly the Baluchistan province.  In order to stop this project, India with the help of the anti-state elements made a strong push. Apart from external factors, some internal elements also put obstacles but all their efforts failed and now the situation is that almost all the countries of the region and some countries of the outside world are eager to be a part of it.  Recently, China announced a plan to lay a railway line from Kashgar to Gwadar at a cost of fifty-eight billion dollars.  The project will connect the 1860-mile long railway system from Gwadar to the Xinjiang city of Guanzhou.  The Chaman border with Iran is of great importance in the backdrop of Pakistan-Iran relations, which are giving hope for a bright future. A serious proposal of mutual trade through Islamabad, Tehran, Istanbul train is under consideration.  Road to Makkah project is becoming a reality. As a matter of fact, Chinese companies have already invested around $25 billion under the umbrella of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and as reported in the media, more projects and plans to the tune of $20 billion are under implementation and will materialize soon. Balochistan will greatly gain from the CPEC projects.
