TIKA funded children health facility opened, Minister, CG cut ribbon

Karachi: Operating room established by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) at National Child Health Institute was opened with participation of Sindh caretaker Minister of Health Dr. Saad Khalid Niaz and Turkish Republic Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Mehmet Paçaci.
Minister said Türkiye is first country to help and support Pakistan in time of need. He thanked Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency-TIKAstate-of-the-arte art OT for children of Pakistan.
Dr. Mehmet Paçaci said relationship between Türkiye and Pakistan is long lasting and with Turkish institutes like TIKA, Yunus Emreothersother, this relation strengthened.
Stating that they have carried out more than 80 health projects throughout Pakistan, TIKA Karachi Program Coordinator Halil Ibrahim Basaran stated that they continue to contribute to development of Pakistan, friendly and brotherly country, in field of health with 7 important projects they have carried out in different health fields between 2019 and 2023 in Sindh province. TIKA Karachi Programme Coordinator Halil Ibrahim Basaran stated that they continue to contribute to development of Pakistan in field of health.
Director and Chief Medical Officer of National Institute of Child Health Dr. Nasir Saleem said that hospital which continues to provide services well above bed capacity.
Minister of Health and Ambassador Paçaci cut ribbon. After opening Dr. Niaz and Dr. Paçaci visited intensive care unit and delighted children with gifts prepared by TIKA.
Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency has carried out more than 80 health projects throughout Pakistan since 2010 with its offices located in Islamabad and Karachi. In Sindh, it has implemented 7 important health projects, including health projects for treatment of diseases sucthalassemiasemia, cataracts, cleft lip and palate.
