Rahimyar Khan: At least three people were killed and five others sustained injuries due to a collision between a car and trailer in Rahimyar Khan. Tragic incident occurred on M5 Motorway near Zahir Peer Interchange when a speeding car went out of control due to tyre burst and rammed into trailer.

As a result three members of a family died, while five others sustained critical injuries. According to rescue officials, women and children are also among dead and injured, adding that injured have been shifted to hospital for medical assistance. In a statement, Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi has expressed grief over loss of precious lives in a traffic accident in Rahimyar Khan. –Online
