Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori hosted luncheon in honour of children of Al-Mustafa Welfare Society, My Home Al-Mustafa at Governor House. Zubair Habib and other philanthropists who financially supported Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust were present. Tessori said, “It is my luck that our princes have come to Governor House in such a large number.
They are good, I myself would like to be a part of it.” He said that in Al-Mustafa, destitute children are called princes, believe me, I like it very much. Such titles will also help to end feeling of deprivation among these children, so I request that Sahara children should be called princes. At lunch, Governor mingled with children and talked to them.
A child was asked by Governor, “Who complains more about you, prince?” In a very innocent way, child pointed to a child sitting near him and said that he complains a lot about me.
Tessori lovingly advised child that you are all my princes, so treat each other with love, to which child innocently replied that it is fine. He asked questions about their future. Most of children expressed their desire to become religious scholars. One child wished to become a commando in Army.
He said that Haji Hanif Tayyab of Al-Mustafa Society is a role model for all of us because there are very few such compassionate and visionary people in society, Haji Sahib is rendering valuable services to humanity.
Haji Hanif Tayyab informed about performance and welfare projects of Al-Mustafa Society. He said that people celebrate their Valima in my home so that these children can share their happiness.
