Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori visited Jamia-tur-Rasheed, renowned educational institution headed by Mufti Abdul Raheem. Governor said that he was indebted for love, affection and prayers of Mufti Abdul Raheem who has always been very kind. “All my welfare project during last one year as Governor are due to guidance of Mufti Abdul Raheem, who motivated me to serve masses without any discrimination of religion caste or creed”, he added.

Governor said that Mufti Abdul Raheem is an organisation himself who has established such unique institution, where religious and contemporary education is bring imparted under one roof. “It is an institution like no other as graduates from Jamia-tur-Rasheed have made their institution proud all over world”, he added.

Governor Tessori said that he was very proud that charter of Al-Ghazali University was granted by his signatures. “I am positive that Al-Ghazali University would turn out to be remarkable place if learning like Jamia-tur-Rahseed.

He said that Pakistan in this time of economic hardship needs every one of us.” We must all unite on one-point agenda of reviving our economy”, he opined.

Governor assured that he would extend all possible help and assistance to Jamia-tur-Rasheed and Al-Ghazali University.

Patron-In-Chief of Jamia-tur-Rasheed Mufti Abdul Raheem said that country needs more leaders and rulers like Tessori, who is always available to everyone in time of need.” Opening of Governor House for masses is an unprecedented step for which he would always remembered”, Mufti Abdul Raheem added.

Meanwhile, Tessori condemned continuous bombing by Israeli forces on innocent Palestinian. In statement Governor said that atrocities committed by Israel amount to war crimes.” Its barbaric action to target innocent children, women and aged people is proof of mentality of Israel, he added. He appealed world community to immediately intervene and stops Israeli attacks.

In addition, Governor Tessori addressing National Consultative meeting on Elimination of Child Marriage said that child marriage is serious problem due to gender inequality and social trends. “I am thankful to UNFPA, UNICEF and UN-WOMEN for organising this important meeting.

Chairperson of National Commission on Status of Women Nilofer Bakhtiar presented shield to Young YouTuber and Sindh Governor’s son Zaid Khan Tessori. Chancellor Public Sector Universities of province Kamran Tessori has stressed upon vice chancellors to focus on producing such graduates, who are able to acquire job after complete their degrees by introducing course modules according to job market demands.

Presiding over meeting of vice chancellors of public sector universities here he said that current situation is very alarming as graduates coming out from universities are only adding to numbers of unemployed youth. He said that campuses in other cities by various universities is welcomed to which is providing better education opportunities to local students. He said that universities should be ideal educational institutions, where students should not only be educated but also be trained.

Governor said that he would try his best to solve problems of universities by making recommendations to solve them. He said that universities should install solar panel to solve energy problems. In this regard he is ready to contact concerned companies. Meeting discussed in detail improvement of curriculum, introduction of courses according to market requirement, better training of students, issues of universities, role of Higher Education Commission of  Pakistan and other related issues. Vice Chancellors of University of Sindh Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, of NED University of Engineer and Technology Dr Sarosh Hashmat Lodhi, University of Art, Design and Heritage Jamshoro Dr Toha Hussain Ali, Sindh Agriculture University Dr Fateh Muhammad Marri, University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro Ikram Din Ajan, Dow University of Health Sciences Muhammad Saeed Qureshi, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana Dr Nusrat Shah, Jinnah Sindh Medical University Karachi were present in meeting.

Principal Secretary to Governor Bilal Ahmed Memon, Secretary Universities and Boards Noor Ahmed Samo, Chairman Sindh Higher Education Commission Prof. Tariq Rafi also attended meeting.

Moreover, Governor met spiritual leader of Hur Jamaat and head of PML Functional Pir Pagara Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi at his residence.

Economic condition of country, overall political situation of Sindh and participation of all stockholders for solution of problems were discussed.
