Tessori discusses 12th Rabiul Awwal arrangements with religious scholars

KARACHI: Meeting of renowned religious scholars was held at Governor House under chairmanship of Governor Kamran Tessori.

Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandokhail and esteemed scholars including Maulana Kokab Noorani Okarvi, Jamil Rathore, Shahid Ghori, Shabbir Abu Talib and Bilal Saleem Qadri, attended meeting.

Meeting focused on arrangements for upcoming celebrations of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, including processions, gatherings and rallies. Governor directed concerned authorities to ensure cleanliness, security and proper sewage disposal. He emphasised need for special arrangements for road carpeting and water drainage.

He expressed his gratitude for being notified on auspicious occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, saying it was significant day for Muslims worldwide. He acknowledged scholars' role in supporting the government during challenging times and urged nation to put aside differences and work towards country's progress and prosperity.

Governor House will host grand gathering and illumination on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal to commemorate birth of Holy Prophet (PBUH).
