Tessori bids farewell to Sarah Mooney

KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, held a farewell meeting with Ms. Sarah Mooney, the Deputy High Commissioner of the United Kingdom in Pakistan.
During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening the bilateral ties between Pakistan and the UK, including trade, diplomatic cooperation, and matters of mutual interest.
Governor Tessori commended Ms. Mooney for her exemplary service and wished her all the best for her future endeavors.
He emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to further solidifying its relations with the UK, especially in the fields of education, trade, and social development, where the UK has been an important partner.
Ms. Mooney expressed her fond memories of her time in Pakistan, stating that her experience would always remain memorable.
She highlighted that Pakistan remains an attractive and ideal destination for investment, and she ensured that significant efforts were made during her tenure to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two nations.
She also praised the ongoing IT classes initiated under the Governor's leadership, calling it a commendable initiative for Pakistan’s youth. Prior to the meeting, Ms. Mooney was presented with a Guard of Honor at the Governor House.
She also participated in a flag-hoisting ceremony and planted a tree as part of the ongoing plantation drive. She signed the guestbook at the Governor House, leaving her thoughts and impressions of her time in Pakistan.
