Tessori attends concluding day of 18th My Karachi Fair, praises organisers

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Chief Executive Trade Development Authority of Pakistan Zubair Motiwala, President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tariq Yusuf, diplomats of various countries and personalities from business community attended concluding session of 18th My Karachi Exhibition at Expo Centre.
Governor paid tribute to late Siraj Qasim Teli. He said that late businessman started it to present soft image of Karachi to world. He thanked 60 foreign companies from Turkey, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Thailand for their participation in exhibition. Their participation helped to remove negative impression about Karachi. Tessori said that Chamber of Commerce is main organisation of Karachi business community is making efforts to improve image of city through holding such exhibitions.
Meanwhile, moreover Governor said that youth are capital of Pakistan who can turn country around with full use of their abilities while addressing certificate distribution ceremony organised by Opalta Memon Association. President Association Haji Masood Parekh, Vice President Haji Arif Panjani, Akhtar Arfa, Amir Chaney and others participated. Governor paid tribute to 550 talented students belonging to Association, who performed brilliantly in field of education. Governor said that entrepreneurial and commercial skills of Memon community are praiseworthy.
Not members of Memon community is benefiting from welfare and social services of Haji Masood Parekh but other residents of city are also benefiting.
