On Satuday, the Cadet Arifullah Shaheed, who was going to become a second lieutenant in the Pakistan Army after a few months, had come to his native place in Lakki Marwat on training leave and then came from home to pray at the mosque and there he protected the worshipers from the terrorists and  martyred while saving the worshippers from the terrorists attack.

Such incidents of terrorists attacks on our security personnel have become a routine practice in recent past. In fact, there has been an alarming rise in such acts.  On the average, three to four attacks took place in Pakistan every month which indicates that militants are still very much active. The terrorists and militants organizations have regrouped after the take-over of Kabul by Taliban in August 2021 and they are involved in cross border attacks in Pakistan. Despite the search operation of the security agencies and the successful operations against the terrorists and militants, there is no decrease in the incidents of terrorism. Every few days, we hear of attacks on check posts and security personnel who are being martyred in such incidents.  Time has come for a massive operation against the terrorists in the KP, espcially in the districts of Lakki Marwat as well where such incidents have registered an increase.

On the other hand, the attack of terrorists with heavy weapons on the check post in Dera Ismail Khan is another heinous attempt to disrupt the law and order situation On Friday last, near the Sangjani Toll Plaza on the outskirts of Islamabad, near the Sangjani Toll Plaza, allegedly by the armed men of the politicians. The incident of releasing the prisoners from the police is a proof of the open challenge of the government writ and the increase in political anarchy. According to details, on Friday, 18 to 20 unknown people attacked three vehicles near Islamabad Sangjani Toll Plaza and freed 82 prisoners, but the police managed to re-arrest them along with the three attackers.  MPA's son is among the accused, while two MPAs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, political workers and some civil servants are also included in the prisoners. According to the police, those arrested were involved in protesting and protesting in D Chowk.  These incidents, including the martyrdom of the SHO and 11 police officers in Dera Ismail Khan.

There are such challenges for the enforcement agencies that it is inevitable that the perpetrators along with the accomplices involved in them are brought to justice as per the law. Proving the first of its kind incident near Islamabad toll plaza to be the last is no less than a challenge for the law enforcement agencies. Proving the first of its kind incident near Islamabad toll plaza to be the last is no less than a challenge for the law enforcement agencies. After Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, now the acts of terrorism have started in Sindh and Punjab as well, and the law enforcement agencies have been alerted to control them.  According to ISPR, 10 terrorists were killed by acting on an intelligence report in the mountainous area of Mianwali, while 9 terrorists including two suicide bombers were taken to hell in Bajaur, including their ring leader.  A similar operation was also carried out in Sindh, where lethal materials were seized from the hideouts of terrorists. Acting on a tip-off, two terrorists were killed in Charbagh area of Swat. Six militans and terrorists were killed in North Waziristan's Spinwam area while six army personnel sacrificed their lives. Clearance operations are still underway in Bajaur and North Waziristan. The sad aspect of the matter is that the terrorists are using the Afghanistan area as a base camp and carry out terrorist activities in Pakistani areas and go to their safe havens. So far, dozens of terrorists have been killed in such operations, which are replaced by new terrorists. The security forces are constantly in pursuit of them and are determined to eliminate them. Law enforcement agencies are constantly vigilant, but citizens should also keep a close eye on their surroundings and report any suspicious person or thing to the police so that the scourge of terrorism can be rooted out.

Terrorism has become an international problem. Therefore, it is also important that the neighboring countries take full part in eradicating it with mutual cooperation at the official level. The re-emerging challenge of terrorism in the country is certainly serious, but the good news is that the brave men of the Pakistan Army are continuously carrying out successful operations against the terrorists. The main target of  terrorists has been the security personnel.  Along with continuing effective operations against terrorists, it is also important to address the causes that are causing terrorism. More steps are required by the Afghan government to stop the activities of the outlawed TTP, for which more effective use of diplomatic channels is required, while solving the problem of missing persons, the root cause of anti-state sentiments in Balochistan should be immediately eliminated. Pakistan forces are our defense fence and the guarantor of its security and stability, who have thwarted every move of the enemy with their best professional skills and are always ready to fulfill the requirements of the defense of the homeland.  The long war against terrorism was won by sacrificing thousands of young men. Even today, our forces are fighting against terrorist groups, the latest demonstration of which is the foiling of an attack in Balochistan's Zhob Garrison. Recently, the terrorists had tried to enter the installations. They were stopped by the security personnel on duty. In the fierce exchange of fire, 4 soldiers were martyred and 5 were injured, who later succumbed to their injuries.  The entire nation has paid tribute to the martyrs as  they saved the country from a huge loss of life by sacrificing their lives. The nation can never forget these sacrifices. Recent incidents of terrorism indicate that the activities of miscreants have increased, but the security forces have also thwarted their nefarious intentions.  According to a report, there were 271 militant attacks in the first half of 2023. As a result of the operations of the security forces, 236 suspected terrorists were killed and 295 were arrested. More than 77 operations are being conducted on a daily basis by the Pakistan Army, Police and Intelligence Agencies and other law enforcement agencies to deal with the menace of terrorism. The forces and the nation are determined to defeat the nefarious efforts of the enemy.
