ISLAMABAD: Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque said government was making all possible efforts to resolve issues of telecom industry as economic stability of country was linked to uplift of it. “We are well aware of departmental issues confronted by country’s telecom industry and struggling to settle these issues to stabilise investment in IT and telecom sector,” he said.

Talking to Chief Executive Officer Jazz Aamir Ibrahim, CEO Telenor Irfan Wahab Khan and Hatem Bamatraf of Ufone he said that government was determined to remove all bottlenecks at departmental level in order to promote investment in IT and telecom sector of Pakistan. He noted that improvement in connectivity was linked to telecom industry. Heads of telecom companies apprised Federal Minister for IT about different issues of telecom industry. They also offered thanks to IT Minister Amin Ul Haque for his strong cooperation with telecom industry. Additional Secretary (Incharge) Ministry of IT and Telecom Mohsin Mushtaq and senior officers of Ministry were also present in meeting.
