ISLAMABAD: Interior minister Rana Sanaullah said Army Chief Gen Asim Munir visit to Saudi Arabia is soon expected after January 9 adding Army Chief will play his role for betterment of country. “Technocrat government is by product of subversive and sick mentality of PTI. They are trying to deteriorate situation every day so that instability could remain in country.

Talking to private TV channel here he said sometime they propagate that country is going to default and some time they say care taker set up is coming in country. Imran Khan and his coterie are hell bent on fomenting chaos and disorder. They want political instability remains in country and economic situation could not improve. And then country should default. He held earlier they said election would take place in March or April. Now they have come with new notion that technocrat government is coming. PTI leaders evolve plan to destabilise country in organised manner. Election will take place in October 2023.

He underlined that Pakistan army cleansed areas from terrorism. Keeping law and order situation is job of CTD and police. When Shehbaz Sharif was Chief Minister in Punjab then I was holding charge of Interior Ministry and we maintained law and order situation in better way, he underscored. It is still here, he added. No attention was paid in KP and their situation is that government is absent therein.
