Dr. Burhanuddin Ahmad Saeedi, Sajjada Nashin of Khanqay Mulay Rumi and Commentator of Masnavi Mulay Rumi said teachings of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi are still relevant to current situation even after 772 years. He said that Allama Iqbal has already said about Rumi that Jalaluddin Rumi is not prophet but he has book. His Masnavi is actually Persian translation and commentary of Holy Quran. Consul General of Turkey Cemal Sangun said that Pak-Turkey relations span centuries and Masnavi has big part in development of these relations,  “Long Live Pakistan”.  He said that this is reason why Turkish people love Pakistan so much. He thanked Dr. Burhanuddin Ahmad Saeedi for organising event.

Saeed Talebi said Rumi’s Persian word is actually Tafsir Qur’an, complex to most complex things are explained in Masnavi in very simple way, that is reason why poems of Masnavi touch heart.

Maulana Asghar Daras said that Masnavi is word that touches heart and those who read it get lost in its mysteries. He said that the love of Hazrat Shams Tabriz enhanced Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi in such way that his Masnavi has been immortalised in world.

Anwar Haider said that it would not be wrong to call Masnavi a miracle of Maulana. Maulana Rumi has interpreted verses of Holy Quran through his poems. He has touched on themes in Masnavi that are relevant to today’s times as well.

Ashok Kumar Sichwani said that I am Hindu but I am great devotee of Maulana because his words touch hearts and reader of his Masnoori cannot be freed from his spell.  President of Pakistan Print and Electronic Media Foundation ZDH Khurram said that he is proud of holding meeting on life and teachings of Maulana Rumi.
