On August 5, Taylor Swift shared exciting news via Instagram, revealing the addition of five opening acts for her London Eras Tour dates at Wembley Stadium.

“I asked them to play on this tour because I love their music,” the pop star announced in her Instagram Story. Swift, 34, stated, “Just wanted to tell you about something coming up that I’ve been so excited about: we’re adding 5 incredible artists to our 5 Wembley shows, going on right before @paramore!!” She added, “I asked them to play on this tour because I love their music and I think they’ll absolutely smash it in Wembley Stadium!! Go check out their music if you haven’t already. Gonna be a fun 5 nights!!!” The announced openers include Sofia Isella on August 15, Holly Humberstone on August 16, Suki Waterhouse on August 17, Maisie Peters on August 19, and Raye on August 20. Paramore, who has been supporting Swift on the Eras Tour, will also continue as tour openers during these dates. The “Cruel Summer” singer’s announcement was met with enthusiasm from the opening acts, who expressed their excitement on social media.

Holly Humberstone, 24, shared on her Instagram Story that the news was “the hardest secret I’ve ever had to keep,” while Raye, 24, wrote “secret is out” on her Instagram Story. Sofia Isella, 19, posted her gratitude on Instagram, writing, “Taylor has invited me on The Eras Tour to open for her at Wembley Stadium. August 15. Someone I’ve never met has changed my life even more than she already has just through her writing alone. Your fearlessness in continuing to push yourself and win again and again is the most joyful thing to watch, Taylor. Thank you. Holy s—-. @taylorswift #TSTheErasTour #LondonTSTheErasTour.” In May, Swift had similarly announced a special set of openers for her June London Eras Tour dates at Wembley Stadium, which included Mette on June 21, Griff on June 22, and Benson Boone on June 23.
