Global music icon Taylor Swift is reportedly exploring major acting opportunities in Hollywood, particularly in the sci-fi and superhero genres.

According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, Swift has been in discussions with studios about starring in a limited streaming series, a big sci-fi film, and even a superhero role. For years, fans have speculated that Swift would be an ideal fit for Marvel’s Dazzler, a mutant singer with light-based powers. Speculation intensified when she was seen at a Kansas City Chiefs game in 2023 alongside Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy and stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

While she won’t appear in the upcoming Deadpool sequel, reports suggest she has met with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige to discuss potential roles. Swift has previously acted in films like Valentine’s Day (2010), The Giver (2014), Cats (2019), and Amsterdam (2022), as well as voicing a character in The Lorax (2012). However, a leading role in a major franchise would mark a significant shift in her acting career.
