Islamabad: In fresh revelations against ousted prime minister, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Aun Chaudhry claimed that it was pre-decided that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan would get an 'NRO' in Bani Gala house case and former party leader Jahangir Tareen's disqualification was ;balancing act'.
Chaudhry, former member of PTI told that he had prior information about Tareen's disqualification in concealment of assets case. In December 2017, Supreme Court had absolved Imran Khan of all allegations of corruption and declared him an honest person but disqualified Tareen for mis-declaration under Article 62(1)(f) of Constitution.
"I will tell truth to nation. I had prior information that Tareen would be disqualified despite providing all documents to court. Tareen's disqualification was balancing act," Chaudhry claimed.
He claimed that it was decided that it did not matter whether Khan's documents were incomplete as an NRO was in pipeline for him. "When Khan wanted power, you were ready to even beg for it," Chaudhry said, adding that people would call PTI Chief for getting Tareen's review petition in disqualification case dismissed.
